About the event
Hosted by Johanna Lyon with speeches from industry powerhouses and performances from Jam and Scones, Red Hill Band, Ladybird and other local artists, our Launch provides a great opportunity to see new art, meet industry professionals and mingle with your peers all whilst celebrating Vena Cava’s incredible 27-year-long legacy.
In 2023 Vena Cava plans to build on this legacy by making bold statements and championing diverse voices. As the future of the arts in Brisbane, we believe young people deserve a platform on which to perform their works and shape the next generation of theatre.
